It focuses on building allies and creating systems to advocate for the safety, empowerment and opportunities for girls in their communities. Home Visits
Home visits provide reassurance to girls at risk of early marriage, FGM, or family violence during school breaks. By engaging parents, these visits create a safe space for girls to voice their aspirations, strengthen parent-child relationships, and ensure girls return to school with renewed confidence and support. We believe that for girls to succeed, their basic needs must be met. Girls Support addresses economic and social barriers that hinder education and well-being.

Enlighten Boys
This initiative engages boys as allies in the pursuit of gender equality, empowering them to advocate for girls and work alongside them for mutual benefit. The program fosters positive masculinity, self-awareness, visioning, and academic focus among boys. By educating boys about gender justice, relationships, and leadership, it promotes a culture of respect, cooperation, and mutual support between boys and girls. This approach ensures boys not only stay in school but also actively support the empowerment and education of their sisters and peers.

Teacher Empowerment
Teachers play a pivotal role in creating a safe and supportive school environment. This project trains teachers in empathetic classroom management, alternatives to corporal punishment, and competence-based teaching methods. By improving teacher-student relationships and fostering positive school cultures, the program enhances girls’ ability to thrive academically and socially. Community development & Outreach (Jamii Yetu)
This program focuses on transforming cultural norms and traditions that marginalize girls by engaging parents, traditional leaders, and local government. Through training sessions, parents gain parenting skills, entrepreneurship knowledge, and a deeper understanding of children’s rights and education's value. The project also advocates for gender justice by empowering communities to embrace positive cultural practices while addressing harmful traditions such as child marriage and gender-based violence. The initiative has seen remarkable success in improving school enrollment, retention, and academic outcomes in targeted villages.
